Connect Staffing is hiring a Stand-up Reach Forklift Operator for a wire manufacturing facility in Fontana, CA. This is a temp position paying $18.66/hour, starting on a Mon–Friday shift. In this role, you will pick and stage materials, verify product identification and labeling, and inspect and process outbound shipments in a warehouse environment.

Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:00am–2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage materials, then position them in the designated work area for processing or shipment. You'll also:
• Verify material identification and confirm that product to be shipped is properly labeled
• Inspect and process outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements
• Read and interpret work orders and inspection documents to confirm product specifications
• Report quality or safety issues to a supervisor immediately
• Keep the work area organized and clear to support safe, efficient warehouse operations

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ months prior experience operating a reach truck, high reach, or stand-up forklift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience picking, staging, or processing materials in a warehouse or distribution setting
• Familiarity with outbound shipping processes, including labeling and verification procedures
• Experience working in a wire, metal, or industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to use basic measuring or inspection tools to verify product specifications
• Experience reading work orders, packing lists, or quality documentation
• Preferred prior job titles: Stand-up Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Driver, High Reach Operator, or Order Picker.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
• Must communicate effectively in English
