POSITION: Director of Escrow Operations / Senior Escrow Officer
LOCATION: Houston, Texas
COMPANY OVERVIEW
AquTitle LLC is a Texas-based title and escrow company seeking an experienced escrow professional to lead day-to-day escrow operations, compliance management, reconciliations, policy issuance, and underwriter relations.
This is a key leadership position for an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing the full lifecycle of title and escrow transactions while ensuring compliance with Texas Department of Insurance requirements and underwriter guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage residential and commercial escrow transactions from opening through closing and funding
• Prepare and review settlement statements, closing disclosures, and closing documents
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, developers, surveyors, and title examiners
• Oversee policy issuance and underwriter reporting requirements
• Perform escrow trust account reconciliations and balancing
• Maintain compliance with TDI regulations and underwriter requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Manage SoftPro operations, workflows, and reporting
• Review and resolve escrow accounting discrepancies
• Monitor file quality control and compliance procedures
• Maintain relationships with underwriters, auditors, and regulatory agencies
• Assist ownership with operational reporting and process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Minimum 5 years of Texas title and escrow experience
• Current or previous Texas Escrow Officer experience
• Extensive SoftPro experience
• Experience with escrow accounting and reconciliations
• Knowledge of Texas title insurance regulations
• Experience with policy issuance and underwriter compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
• 10+ years of title industry experience
• Experience managing office operations
• Existing relationships with major underwriters
• Commercial transaction experience
