About Buck Hill FallsBuck Hill Falls is a year-round resort and home community in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Our 4500-acre property boasts a 27-hole golf course;18 holes by Donald Ross and 9 holes by Robert White, a tennis center with ten Har-Tru courts, padel courts, paddle tennis courts, an Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool, championship lawn bowling greens, and miles of nature trails. Position Concept: The Director of Golf will oversee the total golf operation and services offered including the golf shop, golf range, golf services areas and golf car operation including supervision of the head golf professional. The position will promote an exceptional "golf experience," and provide excellent services and programs for all patrons. Technical Competence Mastery of golf-operations software and POS/CRM systems Familiarity with modern teaching aids (launch monitors, swing-analysis tools) Business Acumen & Financial Savvy Budgeting, P&L analysis and merchandising margin management Marketing fundamentals for membership sales and retail promotions Interpersonal & Leadership Skills Excellent communication to engage members, staff, golf committees, and Board members Coaching mindset to develop your team and foster a positive culture Strategic & Analytical Thinking Data-driven decision-making, from tee-time utilization to event ROI Ability to identify and capitalize on revenue streams (e.g. simulators, clinics) Adaptability & Resilience Navigating busy seasons, unpredictable weather and evolving member and guest expectations Balancing multiple projects - from course renovations to new service rollouts This job search will be posted through PGA Execusearch in the following week.
