Location: Kingwood, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Department: Endocrinology

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Sr. Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in Kingwood, TX. This opportunity is ideal for a certified Medical Assistant who enjoys providing hands-on clinical support, assisting with virtual visits, and helping a busy endocrinology practice deliver quality, patient-centered care. The clinic sees approximately 18 patients per day, offering a consistent weekday schedule in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.

   

• Obtain and document vital signs and update patient information in the medical record.

   

• Provide clinical support to providers during patient appointments.

   

• Assist with patient flow and help ensure appointments run efficiently.

   

• Support virtual patient visits as needed.

   

• Assist with administrative duties based on prior experience and clinic needs.

   

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical procedures.

   

• Follow infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality guidelines.

   

• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare team members.

   

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

   

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

   

• Previous Primary Care experience preferred.

   

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.

   

• American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.

   

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

   

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

   

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

   

• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.

   

• Must successfully complete required drug and nicotine screening.

   

• This is a non-smoking facility.
