Personal Lines Account Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing insurance team. This is an opportunity for someone who understands the insurance business, enjoys working directly with clients, and can confidently manage policies from new business through renewal. This is not an entry-level insurance opportunity . We are looking for an experienced, licensed professional who can step into the role with a strong understanding of property & casualty insurance and account management. What You’ll Be Doing As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you’ll serve as a trusted point of contact for clients while partnering closely with producers and carriers. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and strengthening existing client relationships Supporting producers with new business applications and account development Preparing and presenting complete, competitive insurance quotes Processing new and renewal policies, endorsements, change requests, cancellations and premium payments Conducting regular account reviews to identify coverage needs and improve client retention Cross-selling and account rounding when additional coverage would benefit the client Responding to client questions and resolving more challenging service issues Maintaining accurate and organized account information Communicating with clients and carriers regarding renewals, proposals, changes and other policy matters Managing your workflow and keeping outstanding work moving efficiently What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who understands that great account management is equal parts insurance knowledge, customer service, organization and follow-through. Qualified candidates should have: Current Property & Casualty license — required 5–7+ years of insurance or insurance-related experience Previous Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or similar insurance experience Strong understanding of insurance coverage and the ability to discuss client coverage needs Experience working with an insurance agency management system (AMS) HawkSoft experience is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Confidence making independent decisions within your area of expertise #J-18808-Ljbffr Spherion Staffing New Jersey
