Senior User Experience Designer

Roles will be 100% remote but will need to be living in following states or open for relocation - Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, Pennsylvania

Looking for 5+ years of exp, ideally someone who has worked in agile, application design. Healthcare exp would be a plus

Things in resume: interaction design, wireframing, workshops, user research, sketch, InVision, Axure, etc…

Team is currently using Sketch paired with InVision so would be a bonus to come in the door with this tool knowledge

Day to day support on legacy and existing applications. Examples: adding a vaccine card to the website, also adding Apple Wallet, moving the member account over to another platform.

Also work with the Customer Experience team doing design sprints, currently in an 8 week sprint thinking of ways of how to deliver an improved user exp.

Could be small functionality changes to complete re-design

Pre-login is what marketing handles. This group handles everything post-login

This role will not require a lot of research. Just a nice to have. But having some stakeholder research skills would be ideal. To be able to get in front of a stakeholder or any client and interview them.

Client is looking to see how they think and what they created from it.

Prefers to see some case studies, but not necessarily required. Most designers have this format in their portfolio.

First interview with Hiring manager and then will probably bring in his Manager to make final decision but could be a possibility to make decision after one round also.

The Senior User Experience Designer is proficient at interaction design, visual design and user research. The individual will collaborate with Product Management, End users, Business stakeholders and Engineering teams to ensure that there is clear understanding of the expected user experience, and create scalable design solutions for the product. The Senior User Experience Designer will leverage their deep knowledge of user-centered design processes and methodology to create optimal user experiences. They will conceptualize innovative solutions, create user experience specifications, workflows, mockups etc to meet or exceed the needs of end users and stakeholders. As a valued member of the UX team, the individual will use their skills and insights in a collaborative, agile environment to deliver great experiences across products/platforms. Provides mentorship and guidance to team members. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Interaction Design to lead card sorting activities, create content strategy. Conceptualize navigation schemas, search schema & taxonomies. Identify user scenarios, create sitemap, task flows, user flows and wireframes. Lead the team to review UX interaction design and provide guidance and mentorship.

Visual Design to create UI mockups, Review UI mockup's created by UX team members and provide guidance to the team members to improve the design. Contribute to the improvement of enterprise level Design system and supports its maintenance. Collaborate with development team to ensure the UX/UI standards/guidelines can be applied to development artifacts in the final delivery of the product.

UX Research to lead UX research phase. Define UX research technique. Recruit user research participants. Conduct stakeholder interviews, user interviews. Deliver user research findings or reports. Conduct competitive analysis, market assessment, heuristic evaluation and deliver result or reports. Develop personas, empathy maps and user journey maps. Perform quantitative, qualitative user testing and compile finding reports. Mentoring other team members on the research technique.

UX Strategy & Planning to define UX strategy for the product. Create UX roadmap. Plan UX activities and deliverables. Define UX metrics and use that to improve the user experience through out product lifecycle; leveraging web analytics where required.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 5 years related experience

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
