Senior Civil Site Engineer – Washington, DC
Are you ready to take the lead on exciting land development projects in the Washington, DC area? A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Site Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile commercial, residential, mixed-use, and institutional developments while mentoring junior engineers and playing a key role in project success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and management of civil site development projects.
- Prepare site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE license required.
- 7+ years of civil site/land development engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.
- Experience with Civil 3D preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card.
