Night Auditor - Part Time

Position Overview Night Auditor – reporting to Guest Services Manager. Position is non‑exempt. Compensation Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Paid Vacation, Sick Time and Holidays Strong sense of belonging through diversity, equity, and inclusion Greatly discounted room rates for Aparium properties for you and your out‑of‑town guests Role Responsibilities Understand guest service needs and exceed expectations. Assist guests with check‑ins/check‑outs. Interact with guests in the lobby. Maintain and tidy lobby and public spaces. Provide recognition to repeat guests. Maintain cash bank, deposits, and accurate ledger. Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts. Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts. Verify assignments of charges to appropriate departments. Ensure documentation and approvals are in place for front desk transactions. Verify POS integration with PMS for guest folios. Verify all account postings, balances, and room rates. Monitor coupon, discount, and promotional programs. Track room revenue and occupancy statistics. Prepare summaries of cash, check, and credit card activity. Check figures for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Record, store, access and analyze financial information. Follow end‑of‑day/night audit checklist. Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures. Balance the day’s charges and correct errors. Perform wake‑up calls. Run end‑of‑day process in PMS. Understand auditing principles, accounting, and mandatory obligations. Operate PMS and front‑office equipment. Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints and report to management. Complete incident reports for overnight hours. Utilize Aparium service basics to resolve guest issues. Mandatory Qualifications Passion for local community and culture. Strong reading, writing, and spoken English proficiency. Minimum one year of experience in guest services (preferred). Intermediate computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and POS applications. Ability to work at a computer for the majority of an eight‑hour shift. Must lift up to 50 lbs. to handle guest luggage. Must push or pull a cart up to 150 lbs. Must stand or walk during the entire shift. Must work in a dog‑friendly environment. Must consistently work Sunday‑Thursday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
