A specialized opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support a critical Electronic Medical Record (EMR) transition from Cerner to EPIC. This role focuses on maintaining pharmacy operations during an 8-week contract period while permanent staff concentrate on implementing and troubleshooting the new software system.
Location: Delano, CA
Type: Contract (8 weeks)
Schedule:
- Evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 3:30 am (12-hour shifts)
- Must be able to work 48 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmacy support and staffing coverage during the EMR conversion
- Collaborate effectively with permanent staff and IT teams to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist in troubleshooting and adapting pharmacy workflows to the new EPIC system
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and medication management throughout the transition
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacist license required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Demonstrated experience with both Cerner and EPIC systems within the last 5 years
- Previous employment or successful completion of a contract involving Cerner and EPIC systems
- Strong adaptability to software changes and excellent problem-solving skills

- August 3rd or August 17th
