Registered Nurse ICU Neuro

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center. The role involves floating between different ICU units and acute care settings, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through specialized clinical skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer comprehensive critical care to diverse patient populations, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and medical patients.
  
  
• 
  Perform advanced procedures such as chest tube insertion, central line placement, PICC line management, and ventilator management.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and interpret complex clinical data, including ABGs, dysrhythmias, and organ failure indicators.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure safety protocols are followed, including infection control and use of PPE, while managing high-acuity cases.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR and update progress notes in real-time.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Washington State RN license or active license application.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, preferably in a large facility.
  
  
• 
  Recent Epic EMR experience is required.
  
  
• 
  Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; TNCC/TCAR, CCRN, SCRN, TCRN preferred and must be in hand before start.
  
  
• 
  Proven expertise in trauma, dysrhythmia management, and critical procedures.
