Vendor Manager

The Vendor Management Manager is responsible for overseeing, evaluating, and managing all third-party vendors supporting mortgage operations. This role ensures vendors meet company performance standards, regulatory requirements, and service-level expectations while controlling costs and minimizing operational and compliance risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all third-party mortgage vendors, including but not limited to appraisals, title, escrow, credit, flood, VOE/VOI, compliance, technology, and other ancillary services
• Lead vendor onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring in accordance with regulatory and company standards
• Review and negotiate vendor contracts, pricing, SLAs, and renewals
• Ensure vendor compliance with federal, state, investor, and company policies (including RESPA, TRID, and data security requirements)
• Perform vendor risk assessments, audits, and performance reviews
• Monitor vendor KPIs, turnaround times, quality metrics, and cost effectiveness
• Act as the primary point of contact between vendors and internal stakeholders
• Resolve vendor-related issues, escalations, and service disruptions
• Partner with Compliance, Operations, IT, and Executive Leadership to support business initiatives
• Maintain vendor documentation, certifications, and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance vendor performance
