Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd ShiftThe Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd shift is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance. Shift: 3rd Shift 9pm-5:30am - Monday-Friday. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled. OT is typical for this role.Position Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.Wire moderately complex control circuits.Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and centerlining.Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.Ability to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix).Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.Demonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and Fair.Total Rewards:Compensation: $35.93/hrBenefits, subject to eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements (where applicable): Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including vacation and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement Full Benefits starting Day 1Requirements:2-years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education.Self-motivated team player with the ability and willingness to make decisions, effectively communicate, problem solve and teach others.Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to frequently walk, kneel, squat, climb, bend, stoop, and twist.Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.Company Overview:Keurig Dr Pepper (Nasdaq: KDP) is a leading beverage company with more than 150 owned, licensed and partner brands that meet a wide range of needs and occasions.
