job summary:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback via Pull Requests (PRs).

• Implement backend functionalities and business logic to support the business processes, ensuring accuracy

and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI).

• If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the

Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.

• Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).

• Strong understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting and managing PRs.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Six years of development experience

• Direct experience in the healthcare or finance fields, especially in the management of self-funded medical

benefit plans or healthcare provider connectivity

• Working knowledge of MediSpan drug data

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Working knowledge of prescription claim electronic data interchange, along with the overall

reimbursement cycle for pharmacies.

• Experience with MongoDB

• Experience with Snowflake

• Familiarity with pharmacy management, especially around adjudication, formularies, and pricing, is a

significant plus.
