Pay Range: 2056.50 - 2159.33

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: Must have: Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience. Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips. Must have experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to cardiac telemetry and ICU patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and titrate IV medications per protocol.
• Monitor post-cardiac procedural patients including ablations, caths, and post-op open heart.
• Follow unit policies including IV insertions, NGT placement, chest tube maintenance, and other procedures.
