Senior Systems Engineer

You'll help design, develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database, and/or system software components.Day to Day tasks:Conducts analysis of business problems and leads the evaluation, development, and recommendation of specific technology products and platforms.Provides cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements.Research and design best fit infrastructure, network, database, and/or security architectures.Guides configuration, debugging, and support for infrastructure and ensures quality and change control standards are met.Addresses gaps with existing support processes, documentation, etc.Monitors system performance and troubleshoots issues.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Level Specific Responsibilities:Leads the design and implementation of computer systems and software to meet the needs of the organization.Monitors system performance and troubleshoots complex issues, including those involving multiple systems and/or applications.Develops and implements disaster recovery plans and procedures for complex environments.Leads the implementation and maintenance of security measures.Leads the design and implementation of complex network infrastructures.Develops and implements policies and procedures related to system administration.Acts as a technical leader and mentor to junior engineers.Accountability/Complexity:May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegating work and reviewing resulting work product.May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area.May function as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor/manager.#petplace #iphAll of our jobs come with great benefits including healthcare, parental leave and opportunities for career advancements.
