Principal Analyst, Data Management

Location & Role Type Position: Principal Data Manager. Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States. Role Type: Onsite. Security Clearance U.S. citizenship is required. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required. Responsibilities Identify all data deliverables made part of a contract and build a data track in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. Work with the Program Office to determine the appropriate preparers, receive the data within the PDM system, and review it for compliance. Solicit and secure programmatic approval and deliver the information to the customer on time throughout the contract lifecycle. Review sub‑tier contractor requirements, build data tracks for supplier submissions, receive data from suppliers, and route it for approval and/or incorporation into prime contractor deliverables. Secure non‑deliverable program work products to be configuration controlled in the PDM system and other related tasks. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor's degree or, in the absence of a degree, at least 4 years of relevant experience. At least 5 years of professional experience. Experience with government standards such as EIA‑649, the Configuration Management Standard, and GEIA‑859, Data Management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. We Prefer Typically a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of prior relevant experience. Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, at least 9 years of relevant experience. Ability to interpret scheduling and milestone requirements. Strong business acumen, including planning, forecasting, analytical skills, and negotiation ability. Team‑based working ability with internal and external customer contacts. Sense of urgency and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills. Experience generating Data Management productivity metrics and reports. Experience estimating, proposing, and managing Data Management cost and schedule on a program. Experience with Windchill or similar PDM tools. Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or relevant experience. Active DoD clearance.
