Sr. Java Developer

Salary: $95,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• We need strong knowledge of Java and JEE internals, including class loading, memory management, and transaction handling, along with hands-on experience building applications on Java EE platforms.
• We value experience with ORM tools such as Hibernate and JPA, plus solid working knowledge of relational database programming using SQL DDL, DML, PL/SQL, triggers, and stored procedures.
• We require experience configuring and working with WildFly, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• We look for experience developing web applications with at least one widely used web framework.
• We need familiarity with Atlassian Jira and DevOps tools.
• We expect experience across multiple software development life cycle approaches, including Agile, Scrum, test-driven development, and waterfall.
• We require experience building REST web services and microservices.
• We are seeking someone with 5+ years of experience designing and developing Java applications and working with Java 8+ EE and Spring technologies, including Boot, Data, Security, and MVC.
• We prefer a bachelors degree.
• We require 6 years of Java experience, 5 years of REST experience, and 5 years of database experience.

• We design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems while maintaining high availability and performance.
• We contribute across every stage of the development lifecycle.
• We prepare and release software components.
• We support continuous improvement by exploring alternative approaches and technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
• We analyze client needs and existing system functions, coordinate with team members on critical issues, and provide technical guidance.
• We maintain existing products by troubleshooting and applying fixes.
• We handle multiple assignments and priorities at the same time while working to strict deadlines with limited direction when needed.
