CHMC- Emergency Room RN- Per Diem- Day Shift

Pay Range: $57.08-$63.81*

Provides comprehensive critical care nursing services for unstable patients of all ages who require continuous surveillance. This nurse uses critical thinking, technical skills and a holistic approach to implement purposeful and effective action in the face of life-threatening events, and has the interpersonal skills to manage crisis.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current NYS RN license
• Successful completion of CHMC Chemotherapy course within 1 year of hire
• Successful completion of PMCS within 6 months of position start date
• Successful completion of an approved critical care course, and ACLS is required within one year of position start date
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care
• One and a half years of medical-surgical nursing experience or similar acute care background
• Prior nursing experience in an intensive care setting is preferred
