Role Overview Performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Works independently, applying clinical skills and sound judgment to ensure safe, accurate, and timely results. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gain cooperation and deliver optimal care. Adheres to all safety, privacy, and regulatory policies. May assist in training staff and performing specific procedures. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from Radiologic Technologist or MRI Program Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), ARMRIT, or ARRT (MRI) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Proficiency with computer applications and health information systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and resolve standard problems Commitment to patient privacy and safety Key Duties Execute MRI procedures to produce diagnostic images Assess patients and monitor during procedures Maintain compliance with safety and privacy policies Collaborate with healthcare team members Support department operations and staff orientation if needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
