Overview
Starting at $42/hour. 40 hours/week. Remote outpatient counseling: diabetes and weight management. 4+ years of RD experience required. Clinical duties only. Working hours: weekdays, 9am‑5:30pm or 10am‑6:30pm PST/MST/CST. Contracted temporary position with Dietitians On Demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and weight management.
- Assess and provide recommendations for adult patients.
- Use behavior modification strategies to optimize nutrition counseling.
- Evaluate achievement of learning objectives and provide appropriate treatment plans based on patient goals.
- Document recommendations and progress in patient medical record systems.
- Ensure proper use of patients’ protected health information.
- Perform work independently with minimal training.
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR.
