Experience: Minimum of 3 years in apheresis or dialysis, including skills related to central lines and ports.
License: Must have valid and current nursing license in hand prior to start date.
Certifications: BCLS required.


Must-Have:
Ability to cannulate AV fistula.
Ability to cannulate AV graft.
Experience with acute care inpatient dialysis.
Experience with apheresis treatment.
Familiarity with blood prime and blood return procedures.
Knowledge of infection control practices.
Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Post apheresis treatment skills.
Experience with red blood cell exchange.
Experience with therapeutic plasma exchange/plasmapheresis.
Knowledge of tunneled and non-tunneled catheters.
Familiarity with apheresis equipment or dialysis.

Description:
We are seeking a skilled registered nurse specializing in apheresis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in apheresis or dialysis.
Candidates should be proficient in using apheresis equipment and managing central lines and ports.
This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to take rotating call shifts.
Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
Regular patient interactions will include those with conditions such as GVHD, BO, CTCL, and photopheresis procedures.
Floating to different units may be required as part of this role.
The nursing team will receive support from IV teams, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
