Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor patients during surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Manage post-operative patient care and documentation in accordance with standards.
• Rotate between day and possible night shifts, including on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Must demonstrate experience with orthopedic, oncology, and general surgery cases.
• First time travelers are not accepted; prior travel nursing experience preferred.
