Laundry Aide

Westerwood is actively seeking a Laundry Aide to add to our exceptional team and community. This position is full-time 7:00am-3:15pm.

Job duties include the following:

• Collects, cleans and redistributes Westerwood laundry according to state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that all Rehabilitation Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

Working Conditions: Moderate to heavy physical effort 80% of the time. Works is well lighted, confined area. Exposure to uncomfortable heat, odors and laundry chemicals. Protective equipment is provided. Handles laundry weighing 50 - 125 pounds loading and unloading machines. Pushes and pulls, handles and operates a computerized washer.
