Pediatric MRI Technician

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required if they fall on scheduled days.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric MRI Technician to perform imaging procedures and provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI machines, preparing patients for examinations, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during the MRI process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans in accordance with established protocols for pediatric patients.
• Assist in the safety and quality assurance of MRI procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout the scanning process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff concerning patient procedures and results.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric MRI experience.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Siemens MRI experience preferred.
• Ability to float within facility as needed.
