Plant Manager

What You'll Do:

• Direct daily operations across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics, ensuring customer specifications are consistently met

• Uphold a safe working environment in line with OSHA PSM standards and environmental regulations

• Build and reinforce a culture where safety and accountability are shared responsibilities

• Manage quality control systems to maintain ISO 9000 compliance

• Drive corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives

• Own production scheduling to ensure customer delivery timelines are consistently met

• Track key metrics like throughput, scrap rate, and downtime, and roll out cost-reduction strategies

• Coach and develop plant personnel to help them reach performance targets

• Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative team environment

• Deliver consistent customer satisfaction through reliable quality and on-time delivery

• Lead adoption of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

• Spot and act on opportunities to boost OEE and overall productivity

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline

• 10+ years leading plant operations and managing large teams

• A proven history working with unionized labor, including collective bargaining, grievance handling, and broader industrial relations

• Background in specialty materials manufacturing (microporous substrates, polymer films, membranes, or similar engineered sheet products) is a strong plus

• Familiarity with phosgene-derived specialty chemical manufacturing is a strong plus

Pay Details: $170,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
