Part Time - Tennis - Assistant Coach

Assistant Men's and Women's Tennis Coach Penn State Abington, an NCAA Division III and United East Conference member, is hiring a part‑time Assistant Coach. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and the Head Tennis Coach. Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach in organizing all aspects of the tennis program, including practice and game preparation. Recruit qualified student‑athletes. Motivate student athletes, encourage high academic performance, develop leadership skills, and manage the team’s commitment to NCAA and United East Conference regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and experience coaching tennis. Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Background Checks and Clearances This position requires PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check are also required.
