Position Overview We are seeking an HVAC Project Coordinator to help manage mechanical construction projects from handoff through closeout. This role is responsible for schedule coordination, cost control, field coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. Responsibilities Help manage HVAC construction projects from pre‑construction handoff through project closeout. Track and maintain project schedules, material movement, and labor. Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams on design‑build and design‑assist projects. Prepare and receive project permits. Prepare and manage change orders. Coordinate field supervision and internal resources to support project execution.Organize and maintain project folders and operational Software (BuildOps). Serve as a point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers. Manage submittals, RFIs, as‑builts, and closeout documentation. Support inspections, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities. Required Qualifications 1+ year(s) of construction project coordination experience in HVAC, mechanical, or related trades. Experience managing projects in the $500K–$5M+ range. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills. Ability to help manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project, or similar). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical construction practices. Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience with multi‑family, commercial, K–12, municipal, or hospitality projects is appreciated. Experience with public‑sector and prevailing wage projects is a plus. Design‑build or design‑assist experience is appreciated.PMP, LEED, or similar certifications is a plus. Based out of our Grafton, WI office.
