About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room (OR)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Perform surgical technologist duties across a broad range of specialties including GYN, general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedics, neuro spine, podiatry, vascular, and robotics
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management throughout surgical cases
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Tech experience required
• Valid state license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates residing in the Madison area may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel contract completed
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including robotics and neuro spine
• Familiarity with trauma center environments
