Position: Infrastructure Engineer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract, Possibility of extension and Conversion
Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Pay Range: $50-$53/hr on W2, Based on years of experience

Job Description:

Must Have:
1. IBM i administration
2. HMC Maintenance
3. System/Firmware Upgrades

Job description:
o Perform IBM i administration, including system installs, PTF deployment, HMC maintenance, system firmware, software installation, configuration, custom development, and security requirements.
o Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
o Review system logs, application logs and verify the successful completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups.
o Perform problem isolation, definition, resolution and follow-up for system, application, and customer problems.
o Provide monthly reporting regarding system performance and assist with capacity planning requirements.
o Maintain 3rd party software applications.
o Participate in Disaster Recovery testing.
o Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree
