Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Care Aide | Highgate Senior Living – Yakima, WA

Compensation: $20.00–$23.00 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support residents with hands-on care rooted in dignity and choice. Help residents stay healthy, comfortable, and connected through dependable, person-first support.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Provide assistance with activities of daily living and mobility.

· Offer companionship, cueing, and purposeful engagement.

· Monitor and report changes and complete documentation accurately.

· Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.

· Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, leaders, and families.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

· Compassion and strong communication.

· Sound judgment in dynamic situations.

· Team-oriented and receptive to coaching and feedback.

· Adaptable, dependable, and attentive to resident preferences.

RELATABLE EXPERIENCE

· Assisted living, memory care, or home care experience.

· Healthcare, hospitality, or high-touch customer service roles.

· Direct-care roles where empathy, reliability, and documentation are important.

QUALIFICATIONS

· At least 18 years of age.

· Current Washington State CNA/NAC or HCA credential in good standing.

· CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

· Current negative TB test.

· Ability to pass required background screening.
