DescriptionThe Mount Sinai Health System seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology System Medical Director for its Ambulatory Services at Mount Sinai Hospital!Founded in 1852, The Mount Sinai Hospital is a 1,134-bed, tertiary-care teaching facility acclaimed internationally for excellence in clinical care. We pursue all dimensions of these three components, considering them inseparable elements of the art and science of medicine.Position Description:Ensure Compliance with NYS Prenatal Care RegulationsEnsure compliance with Medicare Teaching Physicians rules (TPR) – This relates to supervisory role of the attending for all teaching cases Work with Ambulatory Care Medical Directors to ensure full alignment of Obstetrical Care provided to patients across every site in our OBGYN Health System Oversee and manage Performance Improvement program including metrics for Quality Improvement (This should mimic the workflows and metrics in place at MSH)Oversee and ensure adherence to scope of practice guidelines and competency metrics for all obstetrical providers including:Physicians, Midwives, Physician Assistants, and Nurse PractitionersPartner with residency program directors and fellowship program directors to ensure that all educational goals and metrics are metProvide medical care in high-functioning environmentBenefit from the educational, research, and clinical programs of a nationally ranked Medical SchoolFully integrated Electronic Health RecordAdditional support staffCompetitive salary and benefits offered including productivity bonuses, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, sign on bonus, relocation assistance, malpractice coverage, and CME stipendsQualificationsMedical Degree from an Accredited UniversityNew York Medical LicenseBoard Certified in OB/GYNCommitted to Mount Sinai and the communities we serveExcellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skillsA strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health SystemCompensation range from 310K to 367K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)Salary Disclosure Information:Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
