Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Bridgewater, NJ. The ideal candidate with experience driving product strategy, backlog management, and Agile delivery initiatives to support insurance business transformation and operational excellence .

Rate Range: $41/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and strategic priorities within the insurance domain.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, story estimation, and sprint reviews to support successful product delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and Customer Experience functions to prioritize enhancements and drive business value.
• Support digital transformation and modernization initiatives, including identifying opportunities for Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions within insurance operations.
• Partners with development, QA, and Scrum teams to manage product risks, support UAT activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality product releases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Insurance, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Agile Delivery, with significant experience in the Insurance domain.
• Strong expertise in Product Backlog Management, Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, release planning, user story creation, and insurance business processes including Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and Customer Experience.
• Proven experience driving insurance platform modernization, digital transformation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and deliver AI-enabled solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, and workflow automation capabilities.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $53.00 per hour
