Description

The Communication Specialist will support enterprise-wide communications efforts focused on organizational change, business transformation initiatives, and M&A integration activities. This individual will work closely with Communications and Change Management leadership to develop and execute strategic communications that help employees understand organizational changes, key milestones, business impacts, and company priorities.

This role will serve as a key communications partner across multiple projects, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and aligned to business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong corporate communications experience, proven change management communications expertise, and the ability to create compelling content for a variety of audiences ranging from executive leadership to employees across a distributed workforce.

4. Content Development & Executive Communications

• Draft executive communications, newsletters, emails, intranet content, talking points, presentations, and video scripts.

• Tailor messaging for various audiences while maintaining consistency of voice and organizational objectives.

• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities are critical for success.

5. Project & Stakeholder Management

• Manage communication timelines, editorial calendars, content plans, and project deliverables across multiple initiatives.

• Collaborate with executives, business leaders, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Success requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

• Experience developing communications for executive leadership, senior leaders, people leaders, and team members across a dispersed workforce.

• Experience creating newsletters, intranet content, talking points, video scripts, presentations, and other internal communication materials.

• Experience developing and maintaining communication strategies, editorial calendars, content plans, and project timelines.

• Ability to develop messaging for complex or sensitive topics and translate business information into clear, accessible communications.

Experience partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to gather information, review content, and align messaging with business objectives.

This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
