Registered Nurse – Vascular / Endovascular

Title: Registered Nurse – Vascular / Endovascular

Schedule: Weekends: Every other weekend; Call: Overnight call ~ 2×/week; Regular day call ~ 1×/month; Approximately 2 weekend call shifts during assignment

Requirements: Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience; Required experience with endovascular/vascular procedures (EVAR emphasized); Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; Required licensure: GA RN or Compact RN; Experience with CSI and Penumbra devices preferred; Familiarity with clinical skills related to endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), thoracic EVAR (TEVAR), carotid and peripheral vascular interventions preferred

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide patient care in an acute care setting within the vascular/endovascular service line; Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient assessments and care plans; Assist in performing endovascular procedures and monitor patients pre- and post-operatively; Maintain accurate documentation and ensure strict compliance with facility policies and protocols; Educate patients and families about procedures and provide continuous support; Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 40 hours standard; number of non-billable orientation hours varies by contract length; RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum 7 days per contract; blackout period April 4–12; Traveler expected to work major holidays during assignment
