Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview Merakey is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to support the accounts payable function as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for complex accounts payable tasks. Position offers an hourly rate of $19.00-$21.00/hr depending on experience. Responsibilities Ensure payments follow preset approvals and maintain proper records for processed transactions. Maintain vendor and departmental relations by responding to requests and resolving payment issues. Process expense payments, purchase orders, and check requests through AP CONCUR. Verify proper approvals are documented before payments are made. Assist in special projects related to accounts payable information with flexibility to support onsite as needed. Run reports to assist vendors and internal departments. Track timeliness of transactions in AP Concur. Conduct research on complex transactions for vendors or internal stakeholders. Assist established and new users with AP Concur. Maintain vendor setup for existing and new vendors, including W-9 collection as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred. 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Ability to interact with others and work as part of a team. Highly organized, analytical thinker with good oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Great Plains, Concur, and/or Workday is a plus.
