Sanitation Associate

Our client is seeking a Sanitation Associate to support cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within their facility in Piscataway, NJ . This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable individual with experience in sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse environments who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards. If you are detail-oriented, team-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, physically active setting, this could be a great opportunity for you Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: $18/hr Schedule Monday – Friday Mid shift -11 am - 7:30 pm 3rd shift -7 pm - 4:30 am Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing equipment according to SQF and other certification requirements Cleaning duties include scrubbing and handling both small and large machine parts, storage containers, floors, production, or food contact surfaces Must follow safety procedures when using chemicals and dilute cleaning agents appropriately Proper disposal of garbage Maintaining lunchroom and restroom facilities Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s) All other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications High School diploma or GED 1-3 years of related work experience Ability to work in extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.) Ability to frequently lift 40lbs Good interpersonal skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits for eligible employees Direct deposit Weekly pay Medical benefits 401(k) Plan
