The Senior Family Law Attorney will serve as lead counsel on complex family law matters and will take substantial ownership of cases from initial consultation through final resolution.

You will work directly with clients, develop case strategy, handle litigation and negotiations, and collaborate with paralegals and other legal professionals to move matters forward efficiently.

This role also carries a leadership component. Your experience will help strengthen the attorneys and professionals around you, improve the way the firm serves clients, and contribute to a culture centered on integrity, excellence, and compassionate advocacy.

$100,000 - $130,000 yearly, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Family Law Attorney, you will:

• Manage complex family law cases from consultation through resolution.
• Lead divorce, custody, support, property division, and post-judgment matters.
• Develop case strategies and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support team development.
• Recommend improvements to firm processes and client service.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an accomplished family law attorney who combines significant legal experience with strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active Tennessee law license and membership in good standing with the Tennessee Bar
• 10+ years of legal experience
• Significant experience handling family law litigation
• Extensive knowledge of family law procedures, litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex family law matters
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong courtroom presence and professional judgment
• Proven ability to build trust with clients experiencing difficult personal circumstances
• Commitment to ethical practice and exceptional client service
• Ability and willingness to mentor attorneys and legal professionals expected

$100,000 to $130,000 annual salary, depending on experience
