Job Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Recent experience with EPIC and Cerner required License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or similar certification required Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health in a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and families. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients. Requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
