What You'll Be Doing:  

The Ecommerce Assistant Merchandising Manager is responsible for the performance and presentation of our four direct-to-consumer websites, babyletto.com, namesakehome.com, davincibaby.com, and nurseryworks.net. This role oversees merchandising, content, and site experience. This role approaches the site with a retailer's mindset, balancing stakeholder priorities with what drives conversion, and partners closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Creative, Brand, Customer Service, and Growth teams to deliver a consistent, high performing digital experience for our brand and products.

• Site Merchandising & Content
  Manage site updates, product setup, and merchandising to maintain a polished, accurate storefront
  Uphold site accuracy and brand standards across all imagery and copy
  Develop and maintain a content calendar for promotions and site updates, ensuring the site remains current
  Serve as the primary point of intake for update requests from other teams, prioritizing what is featured based on business impact and customer relevance
  Ensure the best content is used across our product pages including but not limited to partner content, lifestyle imagery, informational videos, and enriched photography.
• Product Performance & Site Optimization
  Merchandise and optimize the site to maximize product performance
  Guide decisions on product detail page content, including photography, product information, add-ons to present the informational and aspirational content customers expect
  Optimize navigation, collection pages, homepage content, search, upselling, and personalization to improve the shopping experience
  Analyze site and product performance data to inform merchandising decisions and report on outcomes to stakeholders
• Cross Functional Collaboration
  Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to ensure compelling execution of product, collection, and promotional launches
  Partner with the Growth team to deliver strong landing experience across email, SMS, and paid advertising
  Partner with the Customer Service team to gather insights on common customer questions and needs, and identify products where available information needs improvemen
  Support the broader ecommerce team on ongoing projects and strategic initiatives
• SEO & Organic Growth
  Execute SEO recommendations in partnership with our SEO agency, recognizing optimization opportunities on-site
  Manage publishing of blog content 
• What You Bring to The Table:  
  4+ years of experience working in ecommerce, online merchandising and managing digital storefronts.
  Hands on experience with Shopify Plus and GA4 (or comparable ecommerce and analytics platforms)
  Experience with Salsify or another product experience management (PXM) platform
  Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana or Notion to manage cross functional workstreams
  Deep understanding of the customer journey and customer needs across touchpoints
  Strong visual sense and eye for product and brand representation
  Strong quality assurance skills, with the ability to review marketing and product assets for accuracy and brand consistency prior to publishing
  Highly organized and detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to guide decisions and prioritize work
  Skilled at balancing competing stakeholder requests while keeping customer experience and site performance as top priorities
  Stays current on ecommerce trends, best practices, and competitor activity to drive continuous innovation on-site
  Experience with Figma a plus

California pay range

$100,000—$115,000 USD
