Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2240 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Unit Details: - Uses Phillips telemetry; nurses read strips, and a monitor tech is available. - Drips include amiodarone, heparin, cardizem, fixed-rate insulin, nitro, and dopamine (renal dosing only). - No vents, but may receive BiPAP or CPAP patients. - No IV team. RT is available 24/7. After-hours pharmacy support is through Marian after 10pm. - 300 unit cares for surgical, orthopedic, and medical patients and may receive heparin patients. - Main unit is more cardiac-focused stepdown acuity with post-cath, post-pacemaker, post-PCI, TAVR day 1 or greater, CABG day 1 or greater, sepsis, and respiratory distress patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend (4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule). - Holidays are worked with permanent staff rotation.

Floating Requirements: - First to float. - Must float between the 300 unit and the main unit.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
