About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Population Health, a key leadership role focused on advancing value-based and performance-driven care initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve clinical outcomes, enhance the patient experience, and optimize the total cost of care. This executive will work closely with a range of stakeholders, including executive leadership, medical groups, and operational teams, to drive the development of innovative population health programs, care management strategies, and quality initiatives. The role demands a leader who can identify and implement opportunities for improving care delivery through data-driven decision-making, technology solutions, and emerging care models, all while ensuring that the initiatives align with the company's values of purpose, excellence, compassion, and teamwork. Candidates for the Vice President, Population Health position at the company should have a Master's degree, with a preference for a degree in business, public health, or healthcare administration, and an MD or DO with Board Certification. A minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, including at least 5 years' in an executive role or 10 years' in a successful management-level position in managed care, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic, clinical, operational, and financial leadership, and be adept at leveraging analytics and industry best practices to guide decision-making. Experience in management and financial and medical expense management is essential, with a preference for those who have prior vendor management experience and a background in building external relationships with physicians in the context of clinical programs related to disease or population health management.
