Survey Cad TechnicianThe Survey Cad Technician is responsible for producing accurate survey drawings, maps, plats, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software. This role supports a variety of surveying projects through CAD drafting, survey data processing, and coordination with survey and project teams. Occasional field support may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare survey maps, plats, exhibits, and construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Process field data and survey computations for boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, utility, and construction staking projects.Maintain CAD files, project documentation, and deliverables.Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.Collaborate with surveyors and project teams to meet project schedules and budgets.Support occasional field surveying activities and site observations.Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.Required Qualifications2+ years of survey drafting experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience processing survey data and computations.Knowledge of boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys.Familiarity with Trimble Business Center, GPS data, and survey workflows.Understanding of metes and bounds descriptions.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Valid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsCST or SIT certification.Prior field surveying experience.Experience creating survey exhibits and plats.Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within the surveying profession.Work EnvironmentPrimarily office-based with a focus on CAD drafting and survey data processing. Occasional field work may be required.
