Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $195.00/hour

What You'll Do
- Provide OB triage and emergency GYN care in a hospital setting
- Manage deliveries, averaging 1-4 per shift
- Collaborate with the care team for antenatal and postpartum care
- Address unassigned gynecological emergencies
- Document cases and procedures using the hospital's EMR system (TBD)
- Respond to hospital obstetric emergencies and support staffing needs
What You Need
- Active, valid medical license in Iowa
- Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Experience with labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and GYN procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Assignment
This position is with a leading hospital in Waverly, Iowa, providing OB hospitalist coverage under the MHAS model. The role involves both clinical coverage and call responsibilities, primarily through hospital-based obstetric and gynecological care, including triage, deliveries, and emergency management. The hospital delivers approximately 200 babies annually and expects around 13+ OB patient encounters daily. NICU Level 1 certification is available.
