Position Description: Leads, directs and supervises warehouse operations and personnel and supervises

the processes associated with the shipping and receiving of product to ensure product integrity and

warehouse inventory accuracy. This includes planning and scheduling the work force to meet daily

demands and overseeing security and cleanliness in local facility.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Verifies all personnel are present and well suited to work

• Assists the processes associated with shipping and receiving of product

• Oversee required inventory moves and ensure they are completed in a timely manner

• Provides performance feedback, coaching and mentoring, periodic review and as-needed

performance improvement plans with assistance from management

• Supports discipline of Warehouse Team members

• Assists with verify / monitoring the pest control program including reporting broken traps and

increased rodent activity to third party contractors

• Assists with damaged product inspection

• Ensure cross training and development of qualified employees

• Assists with office staff while out

• Maintain a safe work environment and observe all safety requirements

• Ensures the Warehouse Team and Office Staff are receiving appropriate training: Forklift, Good

Manufacturing Process (GMP), Emergency Action Plans, Allergen Program, Food Safety, and

Food Defense

• Supports Manager with Safety Quality Food (SQF) system as an SQF Practitioner

• Assists with approval and schedules various repairs and preventive maintenance

• Maintains a positive relationship with team members, vendors, and customers

• Back up Manager with Employee timecards and approving Employee Vacations / Time off

• Assists with giving Employee Review at 90 days and Annual Review

• Meet with Customers and any respectable future Customers

• Attend all Audits for your buildings

• Verify new Pos in the Verification module. Correcting any employee entering and addressing the

issues with them.

• Assists with onboarding new hires

• Assists with any process Improvements in the office and out on the warehouse floor

• Other duties as necessary

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience

• Minimum of 5 years as a supervisor, preferably in a food warehouse

• Must be trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Preventative Controls

Lead Instructor (PCQI)

• Demonstrates leadership, organization, time management, and delegation skills

• Proficient in high volume shipping and experienced with schedule planning in a

shipping/warehouse environment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Warehouse/inventory management system

• Forklift experience
