Senior Operations Finance AnalystThis newly created role will be supporting the Site Financial Controller for all aspects of operations finance. The Senior Operations Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through cost accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure accurate product costing, support monthly close activities, analyze margins and manufacturing variances, and develop KPIs that drive business performance. The position will also lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles for assigned manufacturing locations, providing insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to capably perform each of the following essential duties:Supports manufacturing performance through cost accounting, monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and KPI reporting. Contributes to daily operations, monthly reporting cycles, and annual planning processes.Applies independent judgment to analyze financial results, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and business performance.Performs a blend of tactical and strategic responsibilities, including financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business decision support.Partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Plant Leadership, and Finance teams across multiple manufacturing locations. Interacts with auditors and other business partners as needed.Prepares and presents financial reports, KPI dashboards, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. Communicates financial results and recommendations to business leaders.Supports cost accounting, inventory management, monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintains strong knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing finance, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Identifies and implements opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and operational performance.Analyzes and reports on key financial and operational metrics, including gross margin, manufacturing variances, inventory turns, labor efficiency/utilization, forecast accuracy, and budget performance.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experienceMore than 6 years of experience in Cost Accounting and FP&A rolesSolid grasp of cost accounting principlesERP experience requiredTechnology/Equipment Knowledge (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel) with advanced Excel skillsPrior experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent softwarePreferred Qualifications:SAP experienceAccounting designation (CPA, CMA), or an equivalent related experience a plusBusiness Objects experienceFP&A software platform experience (Adaptive preferred)Additional InformationThe customary salary range for this position is:Minimum: $93,400 USD annuallyMaximum: $140,000 USD annuallyThe salary range provided covers the minimum and maximum amounts projected for this role.
