Caregiver / Home Care Aide (HCA) – Morning Shifts – $21–$26/hr

BrightStar Care is hiring experienced Caregivers and Home Care Aides for AM and morning shifts throughout Monterey County!

Are you a dependable, compassionate Caregiver, Home Care Aide (HCA), Personal Care Assistant, or in-home caregiver looking for consistent morning and daytime work ?

BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is growing, and we are looking for experienced caregivers who are available for AM shifts providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes.

We are currently hiring caregivers with morning availability for:

• 2-hour shifts

• 4-hour shifts

• 5-hour shifts

• 8-hour shifts

• Weekday morning shifts

• Weekend morning shifts

• Consistent recurring schedules

• Flexible per diem opportunities

Morning availability is especially needed.

Our clients are located throughout the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding communities, including Monterey, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Marina, Seaside, and Salinas.

• $21–$24 per hour

• Additional $2 per hour for weekend shifts – earn up to $26/hour

• Morning and daytime shifts available

• 2-hour, 4-hour, 5-hour and 8-hour shifts available

As a Caregiver / Home Care Aide with BrightStar Care , you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care assistance

• Assist clients with morning routines

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and other meals

• Assist with medication reminders as permitted

• Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, shopping, and activities

• Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers as appropriate

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment

• Observe and report changes in a client's condition

• Document completed tasks and accurate caregiver care notes

• Follow each client's individualized plan of care

• Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the BrightStar Care team

Qualified candidates should have:

• Morning / AM availability

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable transportation

• Current automobile insurance

• Current CPR certification

• Negative TB test or chest X-ray

• California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry registration

• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience preferred

• Experience as a Caregiver, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Assistant, Direct Support Professional, or similar role preferred

• Ability to reliably arrive on time for scheduled shifts

• Compassionate and professional communication skills

• Dependability and a strong commitment to providing excellent care
