Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and examinations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. Employ a variety of tailored therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, integrating feedback and insights from various healthcare specialists. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending workshops and training to remain informed on contemporary mental health research and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with varying demographics, providing a supportive, non-judgmental, and effective therapeutic environment. By tailoring your approach to each client's circumstances, you will facilitate healing and foster resilience in their mental health journeys. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington is essential. At least two years of experience in counseling within a clinical context, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic practices, is mandatory. Preferred Experience Specialization or relevant experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial for effective documentation and record-keeping.
