Front Desk Agent Evening Shift

Fairfield Inn & Suites Norfolk Airport is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Evening Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences from check-in through check-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and positive attitude.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest accounts using hotel management software.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of Marriott systems and procedures is advantageous.
