Forklift Operator Compensation $23.00 per hour paid biweekly Benefits available after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates) Forklift Operator Highlights On-site position in Canaan, CT 06018 Contract assignment (based on attendance, performance and business needs) Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (C Crew) Alternating schedule Week 1: Mon / Tue / Fri / Sat / Sun Week 2: Wed / Fri (Repeats every two weeks) Forklift Operator Responsibilities Operate material-handling equipment (including forklifts ) to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the facility Follow clearly defined SOPs and quality guidelines Complete routine, process-driven tasks with attention to safety and accuracy Maintain basic records/documentation as needed Work effectively with team members and lead/supervisor communication expectations Perform in a metrics-driven warehouse environment Forklift Operator Requirements High school diploma or GED Forklift operator experience 0–1 year of warehouse or related experience/training (or equivalent exposure) Ability to read, write, and understand documents written in English Basic math skills and general computer skills Ability to work on-site and reliably meet the required schedule Attendance is mandatory during the first 90 days Ability to perform physical job demands that may include: walking/standing, stooping/kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching/grasping, and repetitive hand/wrist motion (reasonable accommodations may be available) Forklift Operator Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in material handling, logistics, or manufacturing warehouse operations Prior experience working under SOP/regulated quality guidelines Any current/previous equipment certifications or training (as applicable) If you think this Forklift Operator position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
