About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a pediatric setting and minimum of 2 contracts as a traveler. License: South Carolina or Compact Nursing License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting. • Experience in pediatric and/or women's surgery preferred. • Clienttion badge needs to be provided by the parent company. • Must be available for weekend shifts, primarily Friday nights. • Willingness to float within scope if needed. Description: Position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. Shift is 3x12 hours, from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekends are required, with likely shifts on Friday nights. On-call requirement is not necessary. The facility has 8 operating rooms, though only 2 are operational overnight. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Travelers may be called off for up to 10 hours per 2-week period. During hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should ensure they do not confirm assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Previous permanent staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler. Candidates must have an active South Carolina nursing license or proof of application for a pending license.
